Peru's FA Min meets with Portuguese counterpart

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi on Monday held a meeting with Portuguese counterpart, João Gomes Cravinho, in which they discussed the relationship between both countries and the investment climate.

Thus, the senior officials agreed that Peru offers a favorable foreign investment climate. Moreover, they highlighted the strong bilateral relations between both nations.

In this regard, Gomes Cravinho invited Gervasi to visit Portugal, while the Peruvian official reiterated the invitation for Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa to visit Peru in the near future.

The meeting took place within the framework of the working visit paid by Foreign Affairs Minister Gervasi to Brussels (Belgium) and Geneva (Switzerland) in order to participate in the third EU-CELAC Summit of Heads of State and Government, among other meetings with senior officials.

According to the minister's agenda, she will also deposit the instrument of acceptance of the "Protocol Amending the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization, Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies."
