Peruvian, Colombian Presidents meet in U.S.

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo held a bilateral meeting with his Colombian counterpart Ivan Duque on Wednesday morning, within the framework of the IX Summit of the Americas taking place in Los Angeles, United States.

On this occasion, the Peruvian Head of State was joined by Economy-Finance Minister Oscar Graham, Peru's Permanent Representative to the OAS Harold Forsyth, and Peruvian Ambassador to Spain Oscar Maurtua.




Last Tuesday, before departing for the United States, the Head of State said he was traveling to bring positive news in favor of Peru and the integration of the peoples at the Summit of the Americas.

The top official affirmed that the event will allow the Government to strengthen multilateral solutions against the food crisis, poverty, insecurity, and inequalities.
