Peruvian Ambassador meets with Polish Senate Speaker

Peruvian Ambassador to Poland, Alberto Salas, held a meeting with Polish Senate Speaker Tomasz Grodzki as part of a protocol visit.

During the audience, Salas extended his greetings and congratulations for Grodzki's appointment in such an important post.

In addition, they addressed issues concerning the bilateral relationship, the historical ties between both countries, the various cultural promotion events held by the Peruvian Embassy in several Polish regions, as well as the academic and scientific cooperation projects underway.

In the field of international relations, the talk focused on the coordination between the two countries in their capacity as members of the UN Security Council for the 2018-2019 period, as well as issues within the regional and international arenas.

Speaker Grodzki thanked the visit and expressed his interest in enhancing the cooperation with Peru, mainly at the parliamentary level, the cooperation in Antarctic affairs, as well as in different scientific-technical aspects within which several draft agreements are being negotiated.
