Peruvian Gladys Tejeda ended first at the Maratón TELCEL Ciudad de México, an International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Bronze Label Road Race, on Sunday.
The
31-year-old runner crossed the line with a time of 2:36.16, thus grabbing gold medal for the second time at such event.
Coached by Mexican Rodolfo Gomez, Tejeda broke her own record (2:37.34), registered at the 31st edition on August 23, 2013.
