In remarks from the Palace's Courtyard of Honor, the top official called on the political class, as well as civil society and organizations, to participate.
The hearing lasted more than one hour. Once it was over, Mr. Castillo walked to the Government Palace joined by his defense team.
In Peru, the Public Ministry is independent from the Executive Branch.
