Peru's President meets with Stuttgart's Mayor in Germany

The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, on Thursday met with the Mayor of Stuttgart, Frank Nopper, thus starting her official activities in Germany.


At the meeting, they discussed issues regarding technological innovation, the articulation of micro, small and medium-sized companies (MSMEs), transportation, and environment.

Moreover, the Head of State thanked the mayor for the hospitality, within the framework of the Latin America Day, in which Peru was featured as the Guest of Honor of the Business Association for Latin America (LAV). Besides, the dignitary signed the City's Golden Book.

Furthermore, she invited Mayor Frank Nopper to visit Peru in order to share his knowledge on topics such as urban and sustainable development, based on Stuttgart's experience in electric mobility and industrial development; as well as the fight against corruption in public administration.

Meeting with entrepreneurs

Later, President Boluarte will meet with entrepreneurs and executives of the Business Association for Latin America (LAV) and then will attend the "Latin America Day" event organized by said business network.

Peru's top official landed in Germany on Thursday morning to fulfill an intense work agenda, which also includes working visits to Italy and the Vatican.


Mrs. Boluarte noted that this international tour will be very important, since it is an effort to seek various investment spaces so that capital can arrive in Peru.

Presidential airplane

Upon her arrival in Stuttgart, the Head of State announced that the presidential airplane will on Friday leave for Israel to evacuate the fellow Peruvian citizens who are stranded in the Middle East country.

In remarks to TVPeru, the top official indicated that since the first moment of the geopolitical conflict between Israel and Palestine, the Ministry Foreign of Affairs has been taking action on the matter, keeping Peruvians safe, and providing them with lodging and food.
