The
landed in Germany on Thursday morning to fulfill an intense work agenda.
Upon her arrival in Stuttgart, the Head of State announced that the presidential airplane will on Friday leave for Israel to evacuate the fellow Peruvian citizens who are stranded in the Middle East country.
In remarks to TVPeru,
the top official indicated that since the first moment of the geopolitical conflict between Israel and Palestine, the Foreign Affairs Ministry has been taking action on the matter, keeping Peruvians safe, and providing them with lodging and food.
"We are making the presidential plane available, in coordination with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, so that it can leave for Tel Aviv on Friday and deliver our compatriots from the danger zone," she indicated.
Trip
Asked about her official trip to Germany, the president noted that this international tour will be very important, since it is an effort to seek various investment spaces so that capital can arrive in Peru.
"This way, we seek to reactivate our economy, make it grow by 2024, and rely on better economic outlooks for the country," Mrs. Boluarte pointed out.
"The agenda is arduous today as it will be tomorrow, but we are here putting our heart and chest for our beloved country," she added.
President's itinerary
Today, President Boluarte will participate as a guest of honor at the "Latin America Day" event and will lead a presentation during the official dinner of this event organized by the German business association Lateinamerika Verein e.V. (LAV).
The participation of the Head of State constitutes an opportunity to present Peru's economic perspectives to the business community, as well as promote investment and boost bilateral trade with Germany, in order to continue showcasing Peru as a reliable economic partner.
Meanwhile, on
October 13, Peru's top official will travel to Berlin, where she will be received by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, with whom she will hold a meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, as well as revitalizing the visits of high-ranking German authorities to Peru.
