Peru's PM visits Ayacucho to supervise multisectoral civic action

Peru's Prime Minister Walter Martos on Friday arrived in Ayacucho region to supervise a Multisectoral Civic Action and launch projects for the benefit of the population.

Martos is accompanied by Huanta Province Mayor Renol Pichardo and Alianza para el Progreso legislator Perci Rivas.

Upon arrival, the Prime Minister noted that the multisectoral civic action in Ayacucho is coordinated by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with the support of the Armed Forces and regional authorities.

He explained that medical care and early treatment for COVID-19, as well as other diseases, will be available to vulnerable people within this framework.

As part of his visit, Martos will present the municipal mobile pharmacy unit, a vehicle that will reach different localities throughout the region.

The above-mentioned pharmacy will be fully equipped with medical staff, medicines, as well as means to diagnose COVID-19 patients and provide them with adequate treatment.
