Peru's PM participates in delivery of food baskets to vulnerable families

Peruvian Prime Minister Walter Martos on Saturday participated in a delivery of food baskets to vulnerable families residing in Lima's San Juan de Lurigancho district.

During the event, the Cabinet chief was joined by San Juan de Lurigancho Mayor Alex Gonzales and Head of the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci) Luis Carranza.

This time, the provision of food baskets will benefit nearly 2,500 families living in 29 human settlements located in the above-mentioned district.

The distribution of the baskets is carried out in coordination with the municipal government and social organizations in the district.
