Peru's Prime Minister Walter Martos affirmed that the Government is making progress towards its objective of reactivating the economy without lowering its guard in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

In this context, the Cabinet chief delivered the second Temporary Care Center for COVID-19 to Jaen authorities on Sunday.

A day earlier, on Saturday, he traveled to Cajamarca region to deliver a similar facility implemented by the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes (ARCC).

Via Twitter, Martos reiterated the Government's support to farmers, who never stopped feeding the population.

Therefore —as part of the measures to support Peruvian farmers— he launched the first Market of Farming Producers and verified technified irrigation systems in Cajamarca.

Additionally, joined by Agriculture Minister Jorge Montenegro, he issued checks for business plans and projects supporting farmers in said region.
