Foreign Affairs Minister Cesar Landa on Monday met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Rebeca Grynspan.

The event took place at Torre Tagle Palace —the main headquarters of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting was held within the framework of the official visit of the UNCTAD Secretary-General to Peru.

The purpose of this visit is to enhance technical cooperation so as to promote economic recovery, as well as sustainable and inclusive development.

The presence of Mrs. Grynspan in the South American nation strengthens the ties between Peru and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Moreover, her presence in Peru is essential for the development of new projects in various sectors, within the framework of the post-pandemic recovery and for the benefit of the most vulnerable populations.
