Peru's FA Ministry: BAP Union vessel's arrival in Busan strengthens ties with South Korea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the arrival of the Peruvian Navy ship BAP Union in Busan, within the framework of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations with South Korea.

Moreover, the Peruvian government agency pointed out that the journey of this ship, which acts as a traveling embassy of Peru, strengthens the ties of friendship with the Asian country.

"The BAP Union, an itinerant Embassy of Peru, arrived in Busan, Korea! A journey that strengthens our ties of friendship and marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries," the ministry posted on social media.

Likewise, the post indicates that the Embassy of Peru in Korea welcomed the crew and more than 2,000 visitors who gathered to see the arrival.

"The BAP Union will be open to the public until September 13," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

The Peruvian ship is expected to have sailed around the world on approximately 309 days, during which it will visit 20 ports in 16 countries across five continents.
