In that regard, the Peruvian Cabinet member pointed out that "it is not possible to accept any type of coercive violence in the region."
The high-ranking official noted that Peru condemns in the strongest terms the attacks on democracy in the United States.
Minister Gonzalez-Olaechea referred to the construction of democracy and the need to grant it a social dimension, as well as the aspiration for peace to prevail and for wars not to prolong around the world.
Likewise, he pointed out that Peru will continue to actively participate in this initiative and confirmed that member countries work on it with resolutive mechanisms.
The minister added that the thematic agenda is substantive and in line with the changes that are taking place around the world.
Similarly, he highlighted the great efforts to reach out to sectors excluded from the formal economy.
At this event, he explained the challenges that nations will confront in the face of the disruptive era that is emerged from the convergence of bioengineering, new forms of communication, and artificial intelligence.
He expressed his interest that the proposed contents be widely debated by delegations.
