"It is expected that we will register a 50% increase in attendance at the summit, scheduled for November 15 and 16, with the participation of 20 heads of state, Trade and Economy ministers, as well as other officials, joined by thousands of investors from these economies," Gonzalez-Olaechea told RCR.
"During the recent State visit to China, the Chinese Foreign Affairs minister clearly informed me that they were arriving and staying on (November) 17 for a State visit, and that the Chanchay Port would be inaugurated," he said.
The Cabinet member emphasized that the
State visit to China proceeded in accordance with the schedule previously submitted to Congress in the travel authorization request.
"There are investment opportunities, increased technology transfer, and more trade. We had the opportunity to showcase the country's strengths to investors," Gonzales-Olaechea stated.
"The private sector has also been invited to partner with Chinese investors in order to accelerate technology transfer to Peru's business sector," he added.
