19:19 | Lima, Nov. 27.

CADE-Executives 2019 Chairman Luis Estrada questioned entrepreneurs' lack of interest in serving people honestly and distributing the benefits of economic growth among the population.

His remarks were made at the Annual Conference of Executives (CADE-Executives 2019) taking place on November 27-29 in the city of Paracas.

Estrada stressed the importance of enhancing the image of entrepreneurs and social essence of companies.

"When did we stop serving people honestly? When did we forget that companies need to generate economic value and distribute it among the population?" he asked the audience.

Moreover, the CADE-Executives 2019 chairman said that the Inca country needs to post higher growth rates.

"During this edition, we will review basic concepts in order to resume growth, competitiveness of companies, digitalization, among other things," he added.

Political reform

On the other hand, he stressed the need to complete the political reform, and suggested starting with campaign finance, which must be transparent.

"We need to create filters to detect corruption and incompetence," he said during the 57th edition of CADE-Executives 2019.

Estrada believes that each day is a new opportunity to correct mistakes and do things right.
