The South American country will present its culture, cuisine, and business opportunities to millions of visitors in Japan.

Peru will take part in Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, a global event set to take place in Japan from April 13 to October 13, 2025.

This event offers a major platform for the country to highlight its cultural diversity, renowned cuisine, and export potential.

One of the main attractions of the Peruvian pavilion will be an exhibition featuring replicas of the Lord of Sipan's jewels and Nasca ceramic pieces, showcasing the country's ancient heritage.

Visitors will also enjoy an immersive experience transporting them to iconic destinations like Machu Picchu, the Sacred City of Caral, and the Peruvian Amazon.

Gastronomy and export products to take center stage at the event

Peruvian cuisine will have a major presence, featuring tastings, live cooking demonstrations, and exhibitions of products like coffee, cacao, Pisco, superfoods, alpaca textiles, and handicrafts.

With over 3 million visitors expected, this is a unique opportunity to captivate palates and expand into international markets.

Strategic partnerships for business growth

The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPeru) has arranged business rounds, trade missions, and seminars to connect Peruvian agro-industrial and textile companies with over 50 Asian buyers.

Expo 2025 is set to be a key platform for Peru's commercial expansion in Asia and for strengthening its global presence.
