The Government of Peru on Tuesday affirmed the Summit of the Americas' success is fully guaranteed, as it stressed that most countries in the region have confirmed their presence at the coming Inter-American meeting.
Likewise, he stressed that most nations will be represented by their highest authorities, such as Heads of State and Government.
"This guarantees the
success of the summit," said Vizcarra, who was joined by Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio on the occasion.
In this sense, Vizcarra expressed confidence the meeting will contribute to adopting —through consensus— concrete measures to fight this problem, which affects various countries in the region.
