The Prosecutor's Office and the Peruvian National Police (PNP) Anti-Corruption Directorate (Dircocor) are raiding the home of
former National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) Chief Piero Corvetto over alleged irregularities during the General Elections held on April 12.
The prosecutor in charge of the case, Raul Martinez, is carrying out the search-and-seizure operation involving cellphones, laptops, and documents at Corvetto's home in Lima's Miraflores district, according to RPP Noticias.
The PNP Anti-Corruption Directorate said it is executing 12 raids, including properties linked to Corvetto, former officials, and Galaga company's legal representative, over the alleged crime of aggravated collusion.
Last Wednesday, Attorney General Tomas Galvez announced that the Public Ministry (Prosecutor's Office) had requested the preliminary detention of the former ONPE head and other officials.

Simultaneous operations
Authorities have also intervened at the Servicios Generales Galaga S.A.C.'s warehouse in Lurin district, a firm hired by ONPE to transport electoral materials to polling places.
These actions are part of the investigation into delays in electoral material delivery.
Among the properties searched is the home of Juan Phang in Lima's Magdalena district.
He served as ONPE's deputy manager of Electoral Production and is currently suspended.
The official is under investigation for his role in the contracting process involving Galaga.
