Peru: Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva resigns

Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva has stepped down from his post, Peruvian Government confirmed on Friday afternoon.

According to a statement, Villanueva submitted his letter of resignation to President Martin Vizcarra

Likewise, the Head of State thanked the ex-cabinet chief for his work —during his tenure— pursuing State policies for the benefit of the Inca country's development. 

As is known, Cesar Villanueva was sworn in as Prime Minister in April 2018.
