—one week prior to the runoff election scheduled for June 6.
The event, organized by the
National Elections Board (JNE), will consist of six thematic sections, in each of which there will be two citizen questions.
The format will also feature open dialogue: it will start with a three-minute presentation of each candidate and continue with questions and answers linked to each section's main topic.
Lastly, candidates will be able to make a closing statement.
According to the draw carried out by the JNE, the sections will be organized as follows:
Section I: Peru of the Bicentennial
Section II: Health and pandemic management
Section III: Economy and job promotion
Section IV: Education, science, and innovation
Section V: Fight against corruption and public integrity
Section VI: Human rights, social policies, and assistance to vulnerable populations
