Technical teams of Fuerza Popular and Peru Libre —the parties of the two presidential candidates in the runoff election— have presented their principal proposals during the first debate organized by the
National Elections Board (JNE) ahead of the presidential race scheduled for June 6.
The event took place on Sunday evening at the Gran Teatro Nacional (Grand National Theater) located in Lima's San Borja district.
The debate between representatives of both sides was moderated by political analyst and lawyer, Juan de la Puente.

The discussion took place in an open dialogue format, including the participation of a panel of experts, who asked questions in each of the sections.
