Presidential candidate for Partido Democrata Verde (Democratic Green Party), Alex Gonzales, cast his vote at Isabel la Catolica School in Lima's La Victoria district on Sunday.
The aspirant's vote took place this morning without incident at polling table No. 042754 inside the aforementioned polling place.

Gonzales arrived wearing a military-style camouflage shirt, an outfit that has characterized him throughout the campaign.

The party's ticket is completed by Maritza Sanchez Perales and Felix Murazzo Carrillo, candidates for first and second vice president, respectively.

According to the electoral roll of National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec), more than 27 million Peruvians are eligible to vote at 92,766 polling tables nationwide, in a process that marks the return to a bicameral Congress.

In this electoral process, voters will choose the next president of the republic, vice presidents, as well as members of the bicameral Congress (Senate and Chamber of Deputies), and representatives to the Andean Parliament.
