President Martin Vizcarra on Thursday traveled to Amazonas and Cajamarca regions as part of a visit aimed at supervising diverse works in favor of citizens.
While in rainforest Amazonas region, the Peruvian leader oversaw progress made on the construction of Bagua-La Pecca highway, which will bring development to more than 120,000 residents of the area.
Furthermore, he participated in a ceremony to streamline Bagua province's
drinking water and sewerage system project.
Afterward, the statesman supervised
healthcare services provided in Northern-Andean Cajamarca region's Jaen province.
The Head of State was joined by Ministers
Edmer Trujillo (Transport-Communications) and Javier Pique (Housing-Construction-Sanitation) on the occasion.
