Peru President supervises Executive Branch's actions in deflagration area

The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Monday supervised the efforts undertaken in Lima's Villa El Salvador district by the Executive Branch to continue assisting the victims of a gas truck deflagration that occurred in the area last January.

The President —who was joined by Minister of Health Elizabeth Hinostroza— talked with the residents affected by that tragedy. Likewise, he visited some of the damaged homes.

The deflagration of an LPG tanker truck —which occurred on January 23— has caused 27 deaths to date.
