President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday underlined various leaders and heads of government have already confirmed their participation in the Summit of the Americas to be hosted by the Inca country next month.
According to the former Ambassador to Ottawa
, the presence of different leaders —such as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau— ensures the success of said coming international event.
"Just like him, other leaders reconfirmed their participation, and we believe this meeting in Lima will be a success," he added.
For this reason, specialists are consulted, which in this case is the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
"Decisions have been made in certain topics, not only on the part of Peru as a country, but of diverse Organization of American States (OAS) member nations. Yet, we must let the Foreign Affairs Ministry give the pertinent recommendations on the matter," Mr. Vizcarra noted.
