Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Thursday affirmed his administration will not privatize water services and said he never had the intention to do so since this is a basic service for the entire population.
In this sense, the Head of State indicated the Executive Branch will boost projects aimed at increasing water coverage throughout the country.
"There is no intention to privatize water and that needs to be absolutely clear," the top official added.
Vizcarra's remarks were made during his working visit to Cusco region.
