President Martin Vizcarra on Thursday affirmed his country's political commitment to strengthening friendship, integration, and cooperation bonds with Ecuador.
Within this framework, the top official pointed out his arrival coincides with the anniversary of the 1998 Brasilia Agreement, a peace treaty between the two nations.
Apart from the presidential meeting, both ministerial cabinets will gather as well.
"I'm confident these days will be productive for the relationship between the brotherly peoples of Peru and Ecuador," Vizcarra expressed in this sense.
He is joined by First Lady Maribel Diaz and Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio on the occasion.
