Peru: President participates in International Women's Day ceremony

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday participated in the commemoration ceremony for International Women's Day.

It was organized by the Ministries of Women-Vulnerable Population and Development-Social Inclusion.

The ceremony was attended by Ministers Diana Miloslavich (Women-Vulnerable Populations) and Dina Boluarte (Development-Social Inclusion), as well as female representatives of various social organizations, among others.

This event took place at the Government Palace's Courtyard of Honor in Lima.

Earlier today, the

Head of State conveyed greetings on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Via twitter, Mr. Castillo greeted working women who fight for the recognition of their rights in a male chauvinist society.
