on Thursday participated in the opening ceremony of the 64th Panam Sports General Assembly, which brings together leading sports authorities and officials from across the Americas in Lima.
The event is attended by International Olympic Committee Chairwoman Kirsty Coventry, Panam Sports President Neven Ilic, and Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) head Oscar Fernandez.
It also brings together officials from the 41 National Olympic Committees across the Americas and Pan American sports federations.
The Panam Sports General Assembly seeks to showcase Peru internationally as a host of major global events and highlight the progress made in preparations by the Lima 2027 Pan American Games Organizing Committee.
The event is being held in the Limatambo Hall at The Westin Lima Hotel in San Isidro district.
