Peru: President meets with IACHR Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo met with Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) Pedro Vaca on Thursday.

The event took place at the Executive Branch headquarters in Lima, the Government Palace Press Secretary reported.

Ministers Cesar Landa (Foreign Affairs) and Felix Chero (Justice-Human Rights) also participated in the meeting.

On May 16,

Minister Landa described as positive the meeting that he held with Special Rapporteur Vaca on that day.

For his part, Attorney General Pablo Sanchez also met with Vaca last Tuesday.
