Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra and Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales on Tuesday morning met in private before the Presidential Meeting and 5th
Binational Cabinet between the two neighboring countries.
The gathering took place at Ilo Province municipal facilities.
Peru's Head of State delivered remarks prior to President Morales' arrival in Ilo (Moquegua region).
The Presidential Meeting and 5th Peru-Bolivia Binational Cabinet is scheduled to be inaugurated after this private audience.
Vizcarra delivered welcoming remarks to his Bolivian counterpart via Twitter as well.
In the post, he said this gathering is intended to further boost development and well-being of their citizens.
It must be noted Binational Cabinets constitute a mechanism for political dialogue between two nations with the purpose of working on specific issues of common concern included in the bilateral agenda.
