Peru: President leads Council of Ministers session

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti and Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez led a new session of the Council of Ministers on Thursday.

At the meeting, the Executive Branch addressed the measures to be implemented in response to the recent events occurred in Peru's northern La Libertad region.

The gathering also saw the participation of Governor Manuel Llempen, who attended the session virtually from his jurisdiction.

Today's session took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
