The President of the Republic, Keiko Fujimori Higuchi, delivered her address to the nation, after being sworn in for the 2026-2031 term, during a solemn session held at the Congress of the Republic in Lima on Tuesday.

The swearing-in ceremony took place earlier today, July 28, in the session chamber of the Legislative Palace.

Present in the chamber were senators and deputies, as well as Peru's senior State officials and high-ranking dignitaries from various countries.

Before delivering her address to the nation, the Head of State administered the oath of office to Luis Galarreta Velarde and Miguel Angel Torres Morales, who assumed office as First and Second Vice President of the Republic, respectively.

These events marked the beginning of President Keiko Fujimori's administration.
