President Jose Jeri arrived at Parliament headquarters joined by some Cabinet members on Thursday.

Accompanying the Head of State are Cabinet Chief Ernesto Alvarez Miranda and other State ministers.

Upon arrival, President Jeri went to the office of Congress Chairman Fernando Rospigliosi, with whom he held a meeting.

The top official arrived at the Legislative Palace following Parliament's decision to invite Interior Minister Vicente Tiburcio to report on last night's citizen demonstration.

The event left 84 police agents and 29 civilians injured, in addition to one person dead.

Interior Minister Tiburcio is scheduled to appear before legislators today.
