Peru: President inaugurates Temporary Isolation Center for COVID-19 patients

With the aim of strengthening health services and continuing to fight the novel coronavirus, the President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra inaugurated the Temporary Care and Isolation Center in Huanuco on Tuesday.

This establishment features 50 beds for the care of COVID-19 patients.

The Head of State also inaugurated the medical oxygen generating plant.

Mr. Vizcarra arrived in Huanuco earlier today, in order to inspect road works and the implementation of medical equipment in the region.

The President was joined by Ministers Pilar Mazzetti (Health) and Rocio Barrios (Foreign Trade and Tourism) on the occasion.
