Peru: President visits Huanuco to oversee projects

The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday morning arrived in Huanuco to inspect road works and the implementation of medical equipment in the region.

The Head of State was accompanied by Ministers Pilar Mazzetti (Health) and Rocio Barrios (Foreign Trade and Tourism) on the occasion.

Yesterday, Mr. Vizcarra led the main ceremony to commemorate the Day of Veterans of War and National Pacification, in recognition of Armed Forces and National Police members who participated in conflicts to defend the national sovereignty.
