The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti held a set of working meetings with lawmakers so that his administration can maintain a smooth relationship with parties at Parliament.

The gatherings were virtually attended by legislators representing Partido Morado (Purple Party), Frente Amplio (Wide Front), Alianza Para el Progreso (Alliance for Progress), FREPAP (the Agricultural People's Front of Peru), and Somos Peru (We are Peru).

It must be noted that the events were held at the request of the Head of State, who detailed the situation of the country when he was handed over the lead.

For their part, the parliamentarians raised their proposals and points of view.

In the coming days, the top official will continue hosting the round of talks with other political groups.
