The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Monday morning held a video conference with other Heads of State, who are members of the Forum for Progress and Integration in South America.
The event was aimed at evaluating and coordinating actions to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the region.
It featured Presidents Alberto Fernandez (Argentina), Sebastian Piñera (Chile), Ivan Duque (Colombia), Lenin Moreno (Ecuador), Mario Abdo Benitez (Paraguay), Jeanine Añez (Bolivia), Luis Lacalle Pou (Uruguay), and Foreign Affairs Minister Ernesto Araujo (Brazil) to take joint actions against the outbreak.
On the occasion, the Peruvian leader was joined by Minister of Foreign Affairs Gustavo Meza-Cuadra.
