The Head of State was accompanied by Prime Minister Luis Galarreta and Congress Chairman Miguel Torres during the event.
On this occasion, the ceremony was conducted by the historic Juan Fanning Company of the Peruvian Navy, known for its martial skill and synchronized movements.
The changing of the guard was also witnessed by citizens and tourists from the Government Palace façade.
