Within this framework, the top official highlighted the actions taken by the Government to ensure order throughout election day nationwide.

"I received a report this morning from the Interior Minister and the Defense Minister. The National Police and the Armed Forces have already been deployed at polling tables. We are ensuring order," Fujimori stated.

The President addressed the citizenry on the importance of participating responsibly in the electoral process.

"I also call on citizens to exercise their right to vote today consciously, seeking the best citizens to serve as future district and provincial mayors and future regional governors," she said.

Finally, the President underscored that the future regional and municipal authorities will be essential to working together with the central Government.

She also wished the candidates taking part in this electoral process good luck.
