Peru: President Boluarte participated in Civic-Military Parade

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Monday led the Great Civic-Military Parade —as part of the commemorative events for Peru's 203rd Independence Anniversary.

Aboard an open-top vehicle, the top official arrived at this event on Brasil Avenue in Lima's Jesus Maria district.

Upon arrival, Mrs. Boluarte was welcomed by Defense Minister Walter Astudillo and received military honors.

The Head of State was accompanied by Cabinet Chief Gustavo Adrianzen, Congress Chairman Eduardo Salhuana, State ministers, legislators, and high-ranking authorities.

The Great Civic-Military Parade began minutes after 10:00 a.m. (local time) and lasted four hours.

Personnel of the Armed Forces, as well as civil and foreign organizations, participated in this event as part of the activities for Peru's 203rd Independence Anniversary.
