The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Friday indicated that her administration has allocated resources to address the demands issued by regions' authorities and populations, with regard to enhancing infrastructure and emblematic public works.

The Head of state pointed out that her administration has injected millions of Soles (Peruvian currency) "in record time" to address improvements in infrastructure required for the country's development.

Mrs. Boluarte participated in the launch of the "Con Punche Regional" program in northern La Libertad region.

Within this framework, the top official announced that said jurisdiction will soon have two emblematic public works: a hospital and the Chavimochic Project.

Likewise, the Head of State asked mayors to take care of said machinery by providing it with proper maintenance; otherwise, these tools will break down within two years.

Municipal budget

Addressing the municipal authorities gathered at La Libertad Regional Government's auditorium, the President asked them to execute their budgets in the most efficient manner possible.

The top official said those with the least execution of said resources in Peru are, precisely, regional and municipal governments.

Mrs. Boluarte also indicated that the government will promptly review the observations that may emerge in public works execution procedures.
