on Saturday announced the forthcoming reshuffle of the Ministerial Cabinet, explaining that the current one responded to the political crisis.
"That is why I announce that we will reshuffle the Ministerial Cabinet so as to appoint the ministers who know each sector, because we do not want to be a cabinet of words, of theory, but one that solves the country's problems," she emphasized.
In this sense, the top official announced that "this reshuffle will take place in a few more days," with the aim of providing "the homeland with a better service."
Political maturity
The President affirmed that
once she had taken office, with political maturity her administration invited all parliamentary groups and political leaders to meetings. Nonetheless, not all leftist groups attended. Thus, she reiterated this invitation.
"We reiterate the invitation to meet with the Magisterial Bloc, Free Peru, Democratic Peru, Together for Peru, with all parliamentary benches, because if we want to solve the nation's problems, no one should feel excluded or separated or become indifferent; we all have to work together," she underlined.
In this sense, the Head of State explained that Peru is tired of polarization between the Executive and Legislative Branches.
"They are tired of that. Ours is a Transition Government (…) in this short period time we must work together," she emphasized.
