Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Friday affirmed that direct, transparent, and horizontal coordination between the Government and regional as well as local authorities will help resolve problems across the country.
In this sense, the Head of State claimed that he puts said principle into practice, and when he holds meetings with regional governors and mayors, "dialogue is horizontal."
Likewise, the top official underlined his administration's goal is to visit all regions in the country in order to listen to the population's problems and suggest solutions as soon as possible.
"This is the way to create development and close the gaps we had," he expressed.
Remarks were made during the launch of broadband services in Apurimac region.
Furthermore, the top official said that —during his tenure as Transport and Communications Minister— he was able to confirm the absence of the State in the area and the unfulfilled promises.
In the face of this reality, he stipulated the establishment of 42 commitments that included works and benefits for the population.
Within this framework, he noted, 22 of these commitments have already been implemented.
