on Friday inaugurated the "Ruraq Maki, Made by Hand" traditional art and handicrafts exhibition and sale.
This exhibition will be held at the Ministry of Culture headquarters from July 17 to 29.
The Head of State toured the different stands at the Ruraq Maki fair, which showcase expressions from Peru's various regions.
The top official was accompanied by Cabinet Chief Luis Arroyo, Culture Minister Fatima Altabas, among other officials.
"Ruraq Maki, Made by Hand" marks its 20th anniversary this year. Over that time, it has established itself as a key platform for preserving and promoting the country's traditional art and handicrafts.
