Peruvian Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos affirmed that there is only room for dialogue and a common agenda at this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Now that health is the most important thing for the country, there is only room for dialogue and a common agenda, whose priority is to continue to save lives of Peruvians. United we are stronger than COVID-19," he said in a tweet on Saturday night.
Earlier, the
President of the Council of Ministers inspected the warehouse at the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci), where food kits for vulnerable families in Lima and Callao are assembled.
The aim of this initiative is to provide food support to 714,000 people from 200,000 of the most vulnerable families in Lima and Callao without access to drinking water, as well as to accompany the process of economic reintegration.
