Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos has reminded citizens about the measures to prevent the COVID-19 from further spreading in Peru.
"We must be strict in social distancing, hand washing, and wearing a facemask. Every time we go out without a reason, we put the health of our family at risk," he wrote on Twitter.
The said State-run program was implemented to detect COVID-19 infected people —who have mild symptoms or are asymptomatic—, their relatives and contacts, in order to isolate them and break the chain of contagion in Peru.
