Peru PM meets with International Monetary Fund mission

Peruvian Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos received an International Monetary Fund mission that recently visited Lima to discuss the work of the Secretariat of Public Integrity under the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Peru.

The aim of this gathering was to strengthen anti-corruption mechanisms and measures like the implementation of the Affidavit of Interest.

Held on Tuesday, the meeting also addressed the progress in achieving reforms in the political and justice systems, as well as the implementation of the National Competitiveness and Productivity Plan.

The Secretariat of Public Integrity is a technical body within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in charge of leading and supervising the fulfillment of the National Policy on Integrity and Fight Against Corruption.
