Peru: Over 82.84 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

82,859,999 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported.

Out of that total, 28,140,427 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 85.8% of the target population.
Within this framework, 20,470,350 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 71.6% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Similarly, 4,426,398 people have received the fourth dose.
