Peru: Over 73.4 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

73,578,552 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported.

Out of that total, 27,111,146 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 82.7% of the target population.
Within this framework, 16,786,731 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 58.7% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Similarly, 435,498 people have received the fourth dose.
